What’s a bi-month?

Two months. We ship the boxes every two months, instead of monthly, so the period that the current themed box goes for is referred to as a “bi-month”.

What’s in the box?

We like to keep the specific gifts a surprise for you and your dog to unwrap on delivery day! We give sneak peeks on our Instagram and Facebook, so follow us to keep up to date and see our next themes.

Each box will have 2-3 items for you and 3-4 items for your dog. Often these will include a treat, toy and accessory for each of you. We try to shop local and buy our products from small Australian businesses as often as possible, so you can guarantee many of the products in the boxes will be lovingly handmade.

What packaging do you use?

We use Noissue biodegradable tape and stickers, recyclable cardboard boxes and tissue paper, and occasionally pack the boxes into biodegradable shipping bags from Hero Packaging.

We try to source our products from similarly eco-friendly businesses and therefore most of the gifts inside the box are also recyclable, reusable or biodegradable. Some items are packaged in plastic for packaging laws, safe shipping or hygiene purposes.


How do I subscribe?

Simply select the Dog Mum Box option and choose a Single Dog Box, or Double the Wags for two dogs. Then, head to the checkout.

We love to know who the boxes are going to, so if you'd like to add your dog's name or your Instagram handle in the comments section, that would be awesome.

Your card will be charged for your first box immediately and it will be posted on the next Wednesday. Your card will then automatically be charged for your next box on the 23rd of the last bi-month (January, March, May, July, September, November) and your next box will be shipped on the first Wednesday of the next bi-month (February, April, June, August, October, December).

How do I gift a box/subscription?

If you’d like to give a single box as a gift, simply click the gift box option and use the recipients details for shipping. You can also choose to leave a message with the gift as well, do this at comments section of the checkout process.

If you’d like to gift a subscription for a certain period of time (say, three boxes during 6 months), please contact us and we can set up a pre-paid subscription for the length of time you’d like.

When does the money come out?

The subscription will renew on the 23rd of the last month of the current theme (January, March, May, July, September, November). If you’d like to cancel, please do so before this date, or the amount will be taken out of your account for the next month, and your cancellation will apply for the bi-month following that.


How do I cancel?

Log into your Account, select Subscriptions and then select the order you wish to adjust. You can then choose to Pause, Cancel or Skip Next Order.

Cancel your subscription before the 23rd of the last bi-month of the current theme (January, March, May, July, September, November) to avoid being charged for the next box. If you cancel after this time, you will receive the next box, and your cancellation will come into affect the following bi-month.

I want to return/exchange or get a refund, how do I do this?

I’m so sorry that you’re not happy with your box of goodies. Please contact us and let us know what you didn’t like, and we will strive to correct the issue for you. Due to the nature of the products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges, and our return address is not monitored and therefore will not register unless you contact us.

Where do you ship?

We ship Australia-wide, but unfortunately cannot deliver to PO boxes so please enter a physical address at checkout.

How much is shipping?

Free for all boxes! We include the cost of shipping in your subscription so you don’t have to worry about any extra costs at checkout.

Individual items sold separately to our boxes require a $14 shipping fee.

If you'd like to add an individual item to your subscription, purchase it normally, leaving a note in the Order Comments and we will refund the cost of shipping back to you.

When is it shipped?

Subscription boxes are shipped on the first Wednesday of the bi-month period. Gift/single boxes and new subscriptions purchased within the two months will be sent out on the Wednesday following purchase.

Order before the cut-off date to receive the current box, or after this date to pre-order the next box.

How long will it take for my box to arrive?

We ship every Wednesday for orders throughout the month, and subscriptions are posted on the first Wednesday of the new month. Expect shipping to take 5-10 days, and please contact us if you have any issues with delivery.

What if something is damaged upon arrival?

We do not take responsibility for damage to the box caused by the shipping process. However, if something is damaged inside the box, please contact us and we will do our best to replace it for you, or provide an alternative.


Can I choose what comes in the box (regarding dog size, chewing-habits and allergies)?

That would ruin the surprise! As we are a small business, and many of our products also come from small businesses, we cannot tailor each box as much as we might like. We try to design the contents of each box with a variety of trendy, themed gifts that are gender-neutral and one-size-fits-all. Of course every dog is different, and our styles may not suit everyone.

We think that the products are pretty pawsome, so if you don’t think it matches you or your dog’s style, they would make some epic Christmas and birthday gifts!

I have two dogs, can I get a box for the three of us?

Yes! On our Dog Mum Box product page there is an option called “Double the Wags” which has enough products for two dogs and one mum. 

I have three/more dogs, can I get more dog items in the box?

Unfortunately our boxes are only so big, and we can only fit up to three sets of items (two dogs, one mum/two mums, one dog). Hopefully in the future we can get larger boxes to add more products in for you lucky mummas with kennels full of pups!

My dog has two mums, can we get double the mum gifts and one set of dog toys?

Of course! When you select your box, please select the option for two dogs, and write in the comments that instead of the extra dog gifts, you would like extra mum gifts.

Will you do cat mum boxes?

Oh we would love to! We were both cat mums before we got our dogs, so we have equal love for cats and dogs! If we have enough interest we would love to source products for you and your cat, please contact us so we know how many cat mums are out there that would like to be a part of our dog mum sisterhood, minus the dog. 

Can I get a dog dad box?

We would love to do some boxes for the dog dads! If you’re keen, please contact us so we can assess how soon this might be possible! Maybe for Father’s Day?


I am a social media influencer, and I’d like to rep your brand online, can I get a discount to post about you?

Awesome chick, we love influencers! We have a band of models on social media that receive free boxes in return for photos and discount codes for their followers. These are both dog and human accounts that share photos, posts and stories of both the dog and their mum enjoying our products and opening our boxes. Do you support any not-for-profits?

Yes, we donate $1 from each box to a different charity with each theme. We support organisations for dogs, women and the environment. If you have a suggestion for an organisation we should team up with please let us know.


Can I make a suggestion?

Yes! We want to know what you want to see in the boxes!
